Donations

Gifts to 1Ummah are voluntary and, as a rule, non-refundable — once a donation has been allocated to a programme it is committed to that work. If you give in error, contact us within seven days and we will do what we reasonably can.

Where you give to a named programme, your money is applied to that programme. If a programme closes with funds unspent, the balance is redirected to the nearest equivalent work and the change is noted in that programme’s report.

Event tickets

A ticket admits one person once. Each carries a unique code, and once it has been scanned at the gate it cannot be used again — including by anyone you forward it to.

Tickets may be transferred to another person before the event by contacting us, but cannot be resold. If we cancel an event you will be refunded in full; if you cannot attend, tell us at least seven days beforehand.

Conduct at our events

We ask everyone attending to observe Islamic etiquette and to follow the directions of our stewards. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask someone to leave where behaviour puts others at risk.

Photographs and uploads

By uploading a photograph you confirm it is yours to share and that anyone clearly identifiable in it has agreed. You grant us permission to use it in our reports and on this website. We review every upload before it appears, and may decline any image.
